Many of these terms are used interchangeably, and there isn&#;t necessarily an industry glossary determining which word is intended for which pattern. Indeed, there are variations on a theme as we&#;ll discuss. We&#;ll offer our take on diamond shingles, dragon scale shingles, fish scale shingles and beaver tail shingles and show various riffs off the original.
Diamond shingles:
Also called flat lock shingles, our standard issue flat lock diamond shingles come in a variety of sizes, angles and configurations.

Pressed shingles
And though these are not named after an animal like the rest, remember we can make any manner of pressed tiles, too!
Fish scale shingles are similar to Beaver Tail tiles. Technically they could be called reciprocally. We tend to view fish scale shingles as pressed metal tiles with a more shallow profile. They might or might not have a design pressed into them.
And, as we mentioned above, we can press any design. Even if you have some old, historic metal tiles in desperate need of replacement. Whether they are technically fish scale or not, we can recreate any historical pressed metal tile for roof and wall. And we&#;ll build in the best engineering possible so they&#;ll last even longer than the original!

The Aluminium Fish Scale Shingles are suitable for installation in various outdoor applications including small roof lines, windows and walls. They are designed to overlap (in a similar manner to a roof tile). They can be painted or powder coated in a myriad of colours.
