The panels arrived in great shape they were not damaged or anything like that. They are extremely easy to cut using a fine finish blade, I used a 4.5-inch circular saw and had no problems cutting the panels. A nice tip for cutting the panels is to add painter's tape along the area where the cut is going to be made to reduce the risk of the panels having unwanted fraying. This did not happen to me but in some reviews, others mentioned this issue. The space where I used them is all concrete and the echo in the room was extremely annoying for taking any call or joining a conference meeting. After installing the panels the echo went away. The room did not completely become sound proof but it made the space usable. I do however have a few complaints about this product. One is that the panels do not align with one another and I could not get them to match. That is why I took a slat from each of the ends and added it between both panels to add a layer that breaks the straight lines that way the alignment becomes less noticeable. The second complaint is that out of the four boxes I ordered one had a single middle slat protruding further out than the rest. This was a simple but annoying fix. What I did was remove the stapes from the backside and realign the slat. I made sure to leave 1/2 inch on either side and used construction adhesive to attach the slat to the felt. Once the adhesive dried I went back and on the back side and stapled the panel to the felt.
