On December 3, a launching ceremony was held in Yibin City for the inaugural export of Yingfa's photovoltaic products via river-sea transportation. A vessel carrying 1.05 million solar silicon wafers departed from Yibin Port, traversing the Yangtze River to Shanghai, and is set to arrive in Indonesia, with a trade value estimated at 3 million yuan. "This marks the first time Sichuan's photovoltaic products have been exported overseas through river-sea transportation," said Ye Chao, Deputy Director of Yibin Customs.

"Compared to traditional road transport, shipping reduces the risks of damage and vibration, minimizes cargo transfers, decreases foreign trade difficulties, and lowers costs for enterprises while significantly reducing carbon emissions," explained Li Wei, General Manager of Yingfa DeYao Technology's base. Previously, Yingfa's products were exclusively exported via road; this new model fully leverages river-sea transportation to achieve a green transformation for large-scale cargo shipping. The cost of transportation has been reduced by one-third through this method.

Yibin Customs, in collaboration with Yibin Port and international freight forwarders, has developed tailored transportation and customs clearance solutions for the export of photovoltaic products. They have actively coordinated with customs authorities in Chongqing, Shanghai, and other locations to ensure smooth overseas shipping via the Yangtze River. From January to October of this year, Yibin's photovoltaic industry achieved a total import and export value of 429 million yuan, marking a 93.4% increase. Ye Chao stated, "Moving forward, we will strengthen collaboration with local partners, foster more photovoltaic foreign trade enterprises, support the import of key equipment and raw materials, and promote Sichuan photovoltaic products on the global stage."
