Angang Group Ranks Third in World Steel Production Ranking Announcement

The World Steel Association recently released the 2023 production ranking of the world's major steel companies. In this highly anticipated list, Angang Group secured the third position globally with a production of 55.89 million tons. This remarkable achievement serves as compelling evidence that Angang Group is committed to deepening reform, accelerating technological innovation, optimizing industrial structure, and promoting green and low-carbon development.

According to reports, a total of 62 Chinese steel enterprises made it onto the world's crude steel production list of more than 3 million tons in 2023. Among the top 50, 28 Chinese steel enterprises accounted for an impressive 56% share. Additionally, six of the top 10 are Chinese steelmakers. China's crude steel production ranked first in the world in 2023, surpassing over half of global crude steel production and reaffirming China's status as a leading global producer in the industry.
